Hi guy,
I have a question about maximum SSID in a Meraki AP.
One of my customers wants to set Meraki AP in a Hotel.
In this case, there are 30 floors in the Hotel.
Customer wants to set only a network, not many network in a Meraki organization.
I saw the SSID setting there was maximum 15 SSID in a Meraki MR.
Can I add more SSID or Should I divide more network in a Meraki organization ?
My customer wants to set SSID per floor.
In this case, it needs 30 SSID for my customer.
Is it possible ?
Thank you,

The only way to do is to setup per floor as per network.
It's not a good practice but that's the only way.
As per network you can do 15 SSID so it should be fine.
But you can make a wish in the wish tab 🙂

This is a horrible idea!
What are they actually trying to achieve. Will this be just for guest internet access or a range of other 'behind the scenes' services. Corp networks, retail, F&B etc?
It sounds like a LOT of misconceptions need to be addressed.
Maximum as far as I know is 15, but ideally you don't want more than 3 active. More info on that here: https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/WiFi_Basics_and_Best_Practices/Multi-SSID_Deployment_Considerations

I think my customer will install 3 or 4 AP with floor tag and set just 1 SSID per a floor.

What is the benefit of having SSID's per floor? If they are near the end of a floor or are walking between floors the experience would be more seamless if the SSID's were all just 'X Guest' etc...
