Migration ap2802 to 9800 AP with EWC

Hello,

i will migrate a ap 2802 from aireOS WLC to Catalyst 9800. I have a C9120 EWC. I updated to version 17.03.05b.

The 2802 will not connect to the controller.
I think he can't find the right image.

the first time I did the update with http. here you could only choose one AP image.
With ftp you only specify the path and he downloaded the appropriate ap3g3 file.

Did you read the config guide?
Briefly you must configure the TFTP server details on the EWC and then place the files on your TFTP server where the AP will download from automatically.  If you don't want to do that then you should install the image on the AP yourself before trying to connect it to the EWC.
Either unzip the zip file from https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286322988/type/286323077/release/17.3.5b on your TFTP server
Or install the 15.3(3)JPJ8b CAPWAP image on the AP.  Problem is they don't seem to have released it for download yet!

So you could also upgrade to 17.6.4 EWC and then install 15.3(3)JPK5 CAPWAP image on the AP:

Or unzip the 9120 EWC 17.6.4 zip file on your TFTP server:
