Missing Interface on C9800-CL

Hi,

I have deployed a C9800-CL on VMware, inside ESX I can see three interfaces..

But on the Controller there is only two.

Does anyone have any idea what has happened to the missing interface?

I guess you enabled HA SSO, once you enable it, Gi3 will disappear, disabling the redundancy and rebooting the controller brings Gi3 port again.

You should post a screen shot.  Anyways, depending on what you want to implement, you might only require 1 interface.  Two if you are doing SSO and three if you have an OOB network for management that is separate from the wireless management.

G1 - OOB

G2 - Wireless management

G3 - RP for SSO
