This is a stupid question but I am trying to understand.
If you have a mobile router with cellular capabilities, do you still need a modem for internet access? When you can just access the internet through your mobile provider?
Thank you! nd Mobility

that mobile router meant to use for 4G /5G (if available ) connection. some people use for alternative connection.
depends on the requirement, by the way what model it is ?

Thank you for responding. Wouldn't the 4G connection allow connection to the internet, thus removing the need for a modem?
I haven't looked at a particular model, but let's say I wanted to set up my own network separate from the wired one I have already, which uses a modem. If I had a mobile router, with a SIM card, and then wired equipment to that (as needed)...my other devices would have a connection to the internet?
