Hi all,
We use a non-cisco network logging/monitoring tool that we are very happy with and don't want to change.
I would like to monitor and alert on coverage hole detection. At the end of the month we can do a report in our app and it will give the higest frequency points where coverage holes occur.
What I need to know is what MIB inculdes the coverage hole detection OID. I found this one:
http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseMIB.do?local=en&step=2&mibName=AIRESPACE-WIRELESS-MIB
but it only seems to have "coverageThreshold" and others that do not match exactly.
What OID do I use for coverage hold alerts and what MIB is this contained in?
Thanks, Simon.

Have sort of answered it myself...
Have found this OID for Coverage pre-hole alarm:
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.615.0.1
It lives in this MIB:
CISCO-LWAPP-DOT11-CLIENT-MIB
If anyone knows the OID/MIB for coverage hole would be grateful.
Thanks, Simon

Hi Simon,
On my controller, when I am doing a SNMP walk for this OID, it is not responding at all.
Can you pls. help me what could be missing.
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 10.10.10.4 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.615.0.1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.615.0.1 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
Whereas, snmp walk works for most of the other MIBs.
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 10.10.10.4 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.616
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.616.1.2.1.0 = Gauge32: 12000
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.616.1.2.2.0 = INTEGER: 1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.616.1.2.3.0 = INTEGER: 1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.616.1.2.4.0 = Gauge32: 5
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.616.1.2.5.0 = Gauge32: 10
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.616.1.2.6.0 = INTEGER: 48000
Regards
Harish
