Hi,

If a room can accomodate 100 people and we assume that everyone use 2 device atleast
and they use youtube streaming and skype calling

How can we plan this wlan

Just to add to what WiFi Trainers already asked, what is this room used for?  Just an open space for people to work, event room?

It s an event room ,

-Will there be a good distribution of users between 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz? (Is this something you can know?). Yes .

All devices are BYOD ,What I found most of the laptos are 2.4 GHz

We have large event rooms in a majority of sites. During an event it really depends on what type of users are there.  If our rooms have sales people, then we do see a lot of utilization due to emails, files being uploaded/downloaded and Skype IM.  35 per AP seems to work fine during those events. When it's an event that many just check emails and IM, we have seen up to 60 per AP without user experience being affected.  Our smaller multi purpose rooms have a minimum or 2 AP's and we have others up to around 30 AP's.   I would think that 4 AP's would be good for you, but again, it depends on what your users will be doing. We have large events that may have 1000+ users, but users are really only using it for their smartphones or tablets. Other time, 80% will be using their laptops and utilizing the wireless more.

Thanks scott . Lets assume that an online test , people listen to  audio , then answer  based on the audio, 

Or all the users are watching some videos on youtube  .

And their smartphones downloading some emails , whatsapp connected ....

In this case  what would you suggest . 

Since 3702 is 3x3 MIMO , Does this mimo impact on the  number of access point
