Hi All,
I have cisco 1562e with this type of antena: 2x AIR-ANT2568VG-N
This AP will be powered by C9200L-24P-4G-E
I will use cat6 cables.
If I understand correctly, this AP with antennas require 25w, so C9200 provide PoE+, so it should be enough, am I right ?
What should be distance from SW to AP, is it okay to have 100m?
Thank you

Yes correct if you using Cat 6, that should work for you, I will minimize the distance as much as we can.
I have tested someplace nearly up to 90meter with Avaya's phone that works.

Hi,
The limitation is not the power; it's the Ethernet cabling standards that limit the total length of cabling to 100 meters.
100 Meters will be ok .

Hi. Thanks for answers,
Please confirm, that 9200 PoE+ ports are enough for cisco 1562E with external antennas, and there is no need any another poe adapter.
Thank you

Yes it will.
1562E need max of 25Watt and 9200 PoE+ can provide that.

Hi,
I have one more question regarding output VDC from cisco 9200, I cannot find what is the value. But I found that for PoE+ there is range from 44-57 VDC, am I right ?
Thank you

Hi,
The power supply modules are autoranging units that support input voltages between 100 and 240 VAC. The output voltage range is 12 to 12.5 V for 125W power supply and 54 to 56 V for 600W and 1000W power supplies.
Check Table4:

Hi,
so for this SW with default PWR 600W, I will have output on port from 54 to 56 VDC, am I right ?
C9200L-24P-4G | PWR-C5-600WAC | 370W | 740W |
