Remove an AP from Prime monitoring

I have several APs that are being moved to different cities and need to remove them from monitoring in Cisco Prime at their current location and until they are relocated.

I can remove them from the site map, although I'm not sure that would stop alerts from being received.

How can I just stop receiving alerts for them?

Did you try to delete that AP from Prime Inventory

Inventory > Device Management > Network Devices

Once AP come back to network, PI will discover it via WLC. You have to add it to map manually
