Replace like for Like AIR-CT2504-5-K9 WLC

Our 2504 WLC has failed and needs replacing. We have a spare but that does not have sufficient licenses available. How can I transfer the licenses from the old device to its replacement. If anyone could point me to the relevant documentation it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you have valid contract on your old 2504 controller, you can reach out to Cisco support with old and new controller serial numbers and they'll be able to assist. You can also send an email to licensing@cisco.com.
