Hi there,
Having several setups of WLANs with AP1832I-E-K9C.
Was wondering if it is possible to do hard reset of all of them via the controller, or if it is better or only possible to do it accessing the AP locally?
Also how to verify latest firmware and eventually update?
Any status functionality to advice if the AP is working normally of if faulty/having some issues and should be replaced or reset etc?
Thank you!

- Hard reset is only possibly locally ; software can be found here : https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286318342/type/286288051/release/15.3.3-JPO , any fatal conditions will usually be reported by the AP led indicator ,

thank you @marce1000 !
what is the best way for doing any firmware updates? can you do it across all the devices from the AP controller directly like you can do with other devices, just selecting "firmware update" and doing it one by one or distributing it across or do you have to do it physically connecting directly to each AP (would be unreal I guess).
I wanted to do hard reset to start on a clean sheet and reduce any issues coming from previous configurations/errors etc. Do you think is a good thing do or not much advantage from it? thanks

- If the controller gets upgraded then capwap (client) access points , will get a firmware update automatically ,

thanks. all the AP capwap or on ME would get automatically updated?
if not doing the hard reset, will the updated potentially cleanup some issues, from caches etc (on top of the bug it fixes)?

Have you tried "clear ap config <apname>". Unfortunately no all option with this command but you could easily use Excel (or anything of your choice) to add your list of AP names to that command and then copy/paste onto CLI.
Firmware update is fully automatic with standard AireOS WLC but with ME WLC you need an external TFTP server (configured on the ME WLC) which the AP can download the image from. You extract the AP images for the ME version from the zip file onto your TFTP server. When you update the ME WLC it will instruct the AP to download the new image from the TFTP server. If the AP can't download the image it will just keep trying but never be able to join the ME WLC.

Hi,
You can do Hard reset locally and re-image the AP . If you updated your controller, AP will get automatically updated.
Check the condition of AP by Led indicator on AP and for latest firmware refer https://www.cisco.com/#accordion-825b090c07-item-803d0a291a
