Hi, I'm trying to apply a RF profile to a group of APs (APs are assigned the same RF Tag) but failed. These are the steps I followed.
1) Create a RF profile (Under RRM -> DCA I have selected only specific channels)
2) Assigned the created RF profile to the RF Tag (I Have created a RF profile only for the 5GHz band)
3 Restarted APs in that RF Tag is assigned. But still, those APs are transmitting other channels although the RF Tag and RF profile is assigned to those.
Can anyone please tell me why this RF profile is not applied to the APs?
Thank you

- Have a checkup-review of your 9800-L Wireless Controller current configuration with the CLI command : show tech wireless , have the output analyzed with : https://cway.cisco.com/wireless-config-analyzer
Checkout all advisories , correct issues if needed then try your (initial) actions again ,

You mentioned that you created the RF tag and assigned the RF profile but did you apply that RF tag to the AP (you didn't mention it)?
"show ap tag summ" will show you what tags are assigned to the APs (and the source) - my guess is you forgot to assign the tag to the AP.
For example:
ap filter name rf-f-bldh
ap name-regex ^bldh.*
tag policy bldh
tag rf rf-f-bldh
tag site bldh
