Router and L2 Switch

Dear Sir/Madam,

           Is it possible to know bandwidth utilization in network using command in L2 switch and Router ???

Hi,

There is no such direct command for the same but you can check 

"

router#show interface gig 1/0/1 <Interface ID>

   Five minute input rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec
Five minute output rate 2000 bits/sec, 4 packets/sec

 

Here, It will show input and output rate. This command will work on both router and switch (Cat).

               Sir is there any command for check network traffic between source IP to destination IP in router??

 

Hi,

There are few commands for the same but what is your purpose? This is main thing:

1. Show IP Socket

2. Show tcp sessions

3. show ip accounting <If it is enabled>

4. show ip nat translations

Sir, My purpose is check bandwidth utilisation with port details, source and destination information in router.

I think a command "show ip nat translations" is best solution for you.
