I have two SFP port on my layer 2 switch and I want to connect to my WLC 5508. is there any specific setting required compared to normal gigabit interface port?
so I just simply setup trunk in the SFP port, is it enough? thanks

That is really the basic way to do it. Take a look at some guides for reference.

The link is quite ok, but my question is whether any specific configuration required in SFP port compared with normal trunk port?
also any command to list the SFP port and POE port in my layer 3 switch.
if my switch don't have SFP port, can I connect SFP port from WLC and non-SFP port in my core switch? thanks

No special configuration because it comes up as a normal port. The WLC can connect to any port as long as it's a gigabit port. Commands for your switch you will have to look at your switch configuration guide.

All the info can be found in the configuration guide
