Some of my Access Points aren't joining/accepting clients

I have a cisco 2500 wireless lan controller software version 8.0.152.0 with 60 access points that are model AIR-LAP1142. I know these products aren't supported but I do believe there is a simple fix for my problem. Out of the 60 access points 5 aren't accepting new clients. I've gotten the access points and reset them and rejoined them to the wireless lan controller but they still don't join clients. The rest of my access points are working fine and haven't given me any trouble.

 - Use client debugging according to : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/aironet-1200-series/100260-wlc-debug-client.html
Have the debugs analyzed with Wireless Debug Analyzer

Put the AP in a room and turn off the working APs off.  Do the clients join the problematic AP?

No the clients still don't join.

The APs that doesn't take clients are they in a different AP group ? or default with no SSIDs in?

All of the APs were in the default group. There are two WLANS that are broadcasting, corporate and guest. Among these APs most allowed clients. 5 APs didn't allow connection to either corporate or guest.

Thank you. I haven't been able to try this due to bringing down the wifi network. Thanks.

Does your AP getting power properly? I have been there before and my case was PoE status issue.

If you can find AP from the controller, and it has medium power, then try make it full power.
I have different AP model (2802 Series), but I hope my solution works for you too.

Regards,

Yes, it gets adequate power.
