Specific QoS configuration on EWC

Hello,

I have 3 WLAN with QoS configured by metal policy :

 - Main network : Gold

 - SoftPhone network : Silver

 - Guest network : Bronze

I want to configure QoS on VoIP traffic with platinum policy (SoftPhone network), but the rest of the traffic must stay with Silver policy (internet access, etc..).

How can I do this kind of configuration ?

In that case, have a look at the feature AVC: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/ewc/16-12/config-guide/ewc_cg_16_12/application_visibility_and_control.html

Please note, for the AP it's supposedly better to do QoS with separate SSIDs instead of AVC, as you can enforce it for all clients, regardless of the traffic type (and I think a bit lower CPU load on the AP).

I don't know EWC, but typically you can set this per SSID (assuming you run two or three SSIDs).

More detailed information: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/ewc/16-12/config-guide/ewc_cg_16_12/quality_of_service.html

hello,

That is what I did in my configuration, but I want to split QoS depending on kind of network traffic on a unique SSID

thanks
