Unable to backup a dynamic interface in a 2504 WLC

Hello,

I have a problem configuring a Cisco 2504 controller with a backup interface backup configuration, because i can't get the backup dynamic interface to work. I have this configuration:

Port 1

• management interface with backup enabled to port 2 (this works well)
• ap-management interface
• dynamic interface in vlan 10 with backup port enabled to port 2 (this doesn't work)

Port 2

• ap-manager interface

The wlan interface is mapped to the dyanmic interface in port 1.

When I disconnect the port 1 controller after a few seconds i can connect to the backup management interface, i can connecto to the wlan ssid, but i'm unable to ping any device in the vlan 10. All ports in the switchs are configured as trunk with the default vlan 1

Well you should configure it this way since it is a 2504.

Port 1

• Primary for the management/ap manager (dynamic) backup is port 2

Port 2

• Primary for vlan 10 dynamic interface and backup is port 1

Thanks for your answer. I finally found the problem, it is my mistake because the SSID VLAN in the second switch was not enabled with the command "no shutdown"...
