Unable to manage WLC using wired connection

Hi all,

I am currently able to manage my WLC AIR-CT3504 using wireless connection but no able to do so using wired connection even though i have ensured that i am using the same ip. Please advise. TIA!

FROM WLC:  show interface detailed management

SWITCH: sh run int <port> --> where WLC is connected on swicth

I would check any ACLs applied onto those wired vlan or wlc management vlan

Hi Rasika,

There is no ACL applied on my WLC. I have enabled the option "Enable controller management to be accessible from wireless clients". Thanks

Have you tried to put your wired connection on the same VLAN as your WLC management IP and see if you can connect via wired?

Using wired connection which is on the same VLAN as my WLC management ip, I am able to ping but not able to access my WLC management ip via webUI.

Ok, so that will rule out any network restrictions on the LAN. When you connect to the wireless and you access the WLC, is the SSID mapped to the same VLAN as the Management VLAN?
