Have a customer that we are going to be upgrading 8.5 to 8.10.
In the process we are losing a bunch of AIR2602's and then adding new AIR9105's.
Do we need to remove the 2602's before we upgrade and then once the upgrade is done, add all of the new 9105's and swap the connections from the 2602 to the 9105?
Thanks in advanced.

- There is no correlation between swapping APs and upgrading , except that new APs must be supported by controller and software version used according to https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html

I would shut the 2602 APs down (Switch port), do the code upgrade and then swap them with new 9105 APs.
FYI, There are 2 versions of 9105's. You need to get the controller to version 8.10.196.0
