Folks, I have a C9120AXI-E model access point. It's in a booting loop, and it does not give us an option to configure it.

Below is the message it shows before reloading.

Starting kernel ...

[01/01/1970 00:00:04.9040] hub 3-0:1.0: config failed, hub doesn't have any ports! (err -19)

[*01/01/1970 00:00:16.3340] buginf() enabled.
[*01/01/1970 00:00:16.3410] Made it into bootsh: Aug 11 2022 00:10:33 T-24d9397ced0a4659b2d7c81901185234c3a17e4e-g24d9397c-aut
[*01/01/1970 00:00:25.2300] bootsh mini ramfs booted /bootpart/part2/ramfs_data_cisco.cpio.lzma

Tried resetting the WAP and no luck, anything else I can try before calling it for RMA? Thank you

First - have you followed the guidance at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9800-series-wireless-controllers/220443-how-to-avoid-boot-loop-due-to-corrupted.html ?

Also see https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/wireless-lan-controller-software/221869-safely-upgrade-access-points-avoiding-i.html

If you've somehow ended up with 2 corrupt boot partitions then you can re-flash the AP (assuming hardware is not faulty) from u-boot as per https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9120axi-access-point/217537-repairing-c9120-c9115-access-points-from.html

Failing all of that then RMA.

There are other post in the forum with "Cisco 9120 boot loop" or "boot loop"  Might help to review some of them to get a better idea of the different way's folks try to fix this issue.  Many of the end results is to open a TAC case and RMA the ap.

Thanks folks, above links didnt seem to help me. So I raised a case with Cisco through our supplier.

That is your best bet... no need to waste time when you have support and can RMA it:)
