Hi.

I am wondering that standards the AIR-LAP1042N-E-K9 accesspoint supports in combination with the CISCO AIR-WLC2112-K9? What is possible with these components?

It does support 11a,b,g

2x2 means it receives with 2 antennas at the same time and transmits with 2 antennas at the same time.

A 1260 for example is a 3x2 because it receives through 3 antennas at the same time and transmit through 2.

This is why the 1040 has slightly lower performance than higher end APs.

Hope this clarifies.

I think you need to clarify your question a bit because the answer can be broad.

It supports the 802.11 standard in its current definition. So all the letters up to 11n

it's a 2x2 .11n instead of the usual 3x2 that 1260 would achieve for example.

I just wanted to know that it supports 802.11 a,b,g and n. But what do you mena by "it´s a 2x2" ?
