it can not hurt, I got the running-config uploaded to the outer but the wireless no ip address you get an APIPA address169.254.201.217 255.255.0.0

Hmmm.. do the corresponding changes on the router interface....

interface Wlan-GigabitEthernet0
description Internal switch interface connecting to the embedded AP
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1Q
switchport trunk native vlan 1

end

Then..

1>> Are we able to ping the VLAN 1 and VLAN interface ip address from the AP??

2>> assign static IP address to the laptop and lemme know if we are able to ping the VLAN 2 IP address??

the interface Wlan-GigabitEthernet0
I might add that, but not
switch port trunk encapsulation dot1Q
switch port trunk native vlan 1 ?

ok. no problem.. that means.. by default its dot1Q..
