Hi team good day
Team I need your help, I know that this type of question is not for this type of discussion, but I have been trying for months to fix a wlc that has an issue, and this wlc does not have support to ask the TAC. The WLC model 5520 (old model) reboots constantly, try to go back to the backup image and run an auto install but it keeps rebooting. The error message when rebooting:
Team someone has had the same problem:
Could you help me with this question:
INFO: System will automatically go to servicebility crash in 2 minutes, the following things can be done if required..
1. Collect the MSG/Error logs and diag bundle.
2. Switch the boot image (backup image).
3. Optionally you can download a different software image via service port.
(Servicebility crash will not happen till transfer is complete.)
Would you like to terminate autoinstall? [yes]:
AUTO-INSTALL: starting now...
FATAL ERROR: dtl driver not initiated, system will go for a crash

Upgrade the firmware of the controller. This could be CSCuz40970.

I'd say more likely a hardware fault so nothing you can do with software but like Leo says you should at least try updating to current software to eliminate known bugs because 8.5.140.0 is pretty old. Current version is:
https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286284738/type/280926587/release/8.10.190.0
And as per the release notes you should also update the CIMC (which includes UCS firmware upgrades):

Dear, thank you for your answer. I have one last question. Is there a procedure to upgrade the firmware of this model 5520 via console cable? by CLI? It is because the device restarts constantly. I can't execute commands for this reason. For example. via rommon, but for this model? Thank you
Thanks
