WLC 9800 CSSM on-prem

Hi,

I got a CSSM on-prem Server and there are a lot of AIR-DNA licenses.

Can you tell me how to link the C9800 to the CSSM on-prem?

I can't find any useful information in the internet.

Hi,
You have to generate a Token from CSSM server and add it to WLC. And also make sure that from in your smart account which is created on Cisco Portal these licenses are added. And generate license request file from Cisco Portal and upload it to CSSM.

But how to put the ip address of the CSSM and so forth.

The link you sent me only describes how to apply the token.

But token doesn't contain ip addresses.

The 9800 documentation seems to be missing the detail on this but it's basically the standard smart-call-home configuration.

The CSSM server should have provided the URL to use.

On-prem CSSM is currently not supported with 9800 and will likely throw errors. This issue is supposed to be fixed by end of summer timeframe on the CSSM side.
