WLC redundancy

Hi,

I have two cores, but there is only a layer 3 connection available . There isn't a layer 2 adjacency between the cores. .

If core 1 malfunctions, is it possible to establish a redundant link to core 2?

Thanks

what kind of redundancy are you considering here? from WLC to Core ? what Link ?

Look at the HA requirement :

wlc to core , but there is no layer 2 adjacency between core

Thanks

Do you have connection Both WLC connected to both the Cores ?

If you not able to meet the recommended setup, then you looking to use alternative method

You can configure the port on the Other core keep the config ready, when you see the issue, some one remove from Faile  Core Link and connect to Active Core Link to restore the connection, (is this what you looking ?)

Note : that is not the best practice you may see small service interuptions, instead what is the challege for your to arrange connection for both the cores ?
