WLC Splash Page Web Redirect

I have a Cisco 5508. I have setup the WLAN to use 802.1x for Layer 2 security and that works fine.

I have selected Layer 3 security with Splash Page Redirect.

Under the Security tab, below the Web Auth section, i have entered a web page that i would like to be brought up on the device as configured in this screenshot.

The client connects but the web page is not coming up after the 802.1x authentication is completed.

Any ideas?

WebAuth is layer 3 authentication.  802.1x is layer 2 authentication.

If you want to use a web redirect you need to use layer 3 authentication.
