Hi,
is it possible to combine the AP in local mode and the OEAP on WLC in HA mode?
1. I configured the WLC5508 in HA mode with AP in local mode registered:ok
2. When the HA in up and running, it is not possible to configure the NAT on management interface!
is it a limitation ?
in advance thank you support.
Augustin

Yeah, I can see that working that way, since your disabling AP SSO. I'm wondering if this is supported from TAC's point of view, because typically the feature should be available instead of having to do a work around to get something configured.
Thanks,
Scott

WLC in HA doesn't support OEAP600 so I would think that it would also not support enabling nat ip.
Thanks,
Scott

I have this serup running. You need to disable sso when configuring nat ip. After configuring nat ip you Can enable sso ( remember to enable inside så join, If used)

Hi Willem,
here is the official defect, subscribe to it to get any updates on it.

basically, any change on the management interface will cause a reset hence a false switchover, that is why you cannot configure it.

Ok,
It is not possible to set the NAT as long as the HA cluster is build.
It is possible (as written above) to break the HA, set the NAt and build the HA again.
Does the OEAP600 work on the HA cluster?
Does remote LAN work as well?
Thanks
Willem

Thanks!
What version are you running?

Hi Willem,
Yes, OEAP600 works with HA cluster in 7.5, but the client SSO does not.

Hi Yahya and Kasper
This is good news, My customer runs 7.4.100.60.
Client SSO is not importent on the OEAP.
Am not sure I will stay with the HA Cluster.
If I have to break the cluser, I can make it to a N+1 as well.
The main reason of the cluster was the license back in 7.3, only to have 50 Licenses for the secondary WLC.
