Hello,

I use WLSE 2.9 and I want to have mail notification. I configured the right route & my email but I never receive any notification even if WLSE discover many faults..

I searched in the smtp server logs and I saw some errors with WLSE mails : "bad format".

I tried with plain text format & XML format but no result..

Someone could help me ?

Tkanks

Login to WLSE from CLI as admin user and send out a test email to yourself in DEBUG mode to see if you even get it or where it fails. The syntax is "mail to DEBUG".

I have already tested that and there was no success.. I've just tried it another time with the same result..

WLSE doesn't show me any error, but I never receive the mail.

I have got another trouble, in my mail domain, there is a "-" -> @univ-reims.fr

If I send out a mail from CLI with this domain, it bugs no error, no mail sent, no mail written :

admin@wlse:mail to testwlse@univ-reims.fr DEBUG

admin@wlse:

Anyone got troubles like this ?

If the mail is not sent via CLI, it won't work for the faults either. Having a "-" should not cause any problems. If DEBUG is not helping, then you can try using the dumptcp CLI command to sniff the process to see if it helps.

I cannot sent e-mail either I get the following in the debug in the cli

email@domain.com... Connecting to [172.16.56.59] via relay...

email@domain.com... Deferred: Connection reset by [172.16.56.59]

Closing connection to [172.16.56.59]

I have noticed in the logs that the from e-mail address says wlse@ciscosolution.domain.com I think it should say wsle@domain.com but I don't know who to change it!!
