When trying AP Radio Scan, It couldn't works. I have setup WDS and got AP Information all my AP has registered and WNM Information is Security Keys Setup. All AP are managed. Fault WDS Treshold have been enabled.

I use all brand new 1100 AP with 12.2(13)ja3 confirmed from wlse and AP CLI.

SNMP have been set. Discovery process run smoothly.

All test AP are set as Root and use channel 1,6,11

But when running the Radio Scan still got the error:

WARNING: Skipping device AP-Lt.5_6.test.co.id because it has no applicable Radio Interfaces that can participate in Scanning.

WARNING: Skipping device AP-Lt.5_11.test.co.id because it has no applicable Radio Interfaces that can participate in Scanning.

WARNING: Skipping device AP-Lt.5_1.test.co.id because it has no applicable Radio Interfaces that can participate in Scanning.

ERROR: Aborting execution of AP Scanning task because there are no applicable Radio Interfaces that can participate.

Are there any APs in question which have "g" radios?. If so, then:

1) You need to be at WLSE 2.7

2) APs must be running IOS 12.2(15)JA

Thank you very much. This is the light. I am not aware the AP is running 802.11g because I haven't upgrade it yet but it looks like upgraded to 802.11g already when I purchased.

Is there any way to force the AP only work in 802.11b radio, since upgrading to wlse 2.7 and AP ios is not possible for this moment.

(without replacing the mini pci of course)

No, support for g radios is added only in WLSE 2.7 and 12.2(15)JA is also a must. Without both, AP Radio Scan will not work. This is of course assuming that you already have setup WDS and it is working properly.

rmushtag is correct. I had the same problem. Must be 2.7 with 12.2(15)JA

Same here. WLSE 2.7 AP 1200 with b/g radios running 12.2(15)JA.

Has anyone found resolution to this?

Thanks

Hi,

I have encountered similar problems, just after I have addes devices to floor map.

A day later, after device intentory run, all the selected devices has participated in AP Radio Scanning.
