WLSE Redundancy messages.

We have 2 WLSE's (2.9) that are redundant. Frequently throughout the day they generate the following messages via email notification:

Lost connectivity with standby on 10.170.100.XX

Regained connectivity with standby on 10.170.100.XX

Does anyone know why this is happening?

This meands that in a redundant WLSE pair, the active WLSE has lost contact with the standby WLSE. The standby WLSE is not up yet and returns this error when the active WLSE makes a request of it. This message will disappear when the standby WLSE has started up.

Thanks for the reply, I guess what I am wondering is why is the active WLSE losing contact 5-8 times a day? Is this normal behavior? Should I turn redundancy off?

The purpose of redundancy is so that if the promary WLSE goes dowm, the secondary takes over. If that is what you want, then you don't need to turn this off.
