A9K-8X100GE-CM - failing to come online

We've recently installed this line card into our chassis. Upon boot up the RSP comes online just fine however the line card never boots up. It get stuck at MBI-Booting, and then finally after several attempts drops the line card into rommon. Further below is the console output from the line card booting up. Not sure if anyone can help identify what the issue is here. We've tried different chassis and slots and results are the same. AFAIK the RSP880 and this 9010 chassis with line card are all compatible. Is there a license issue thats preventing it from coming online ?

In General this error points to a hardware fault. can you open a tac case on this card?

possibly needs to be replaced with spare

Thanks for your reply. Can you point me to anything on Cisco.com that indicates this is a hardware failure? I've spent quite a bit of time looking but unable to identity anything that tells me what the issue is. I unfortunately cannot open TAC case.

We see this error all the time in TAC, you can try to reseat the card, but other than that if the card is in a boot loop and constantly seeing the hardware (NP) failing to start (initialize) then its bad hardware. There is no other recovery or other magic we can try to recover the card.
