ASR9000v software upgrade (not latest version)

Hi, I have an ASR9000v dual-homed with a ASR9001 and a ASR9904, and the switchover works fine.

The ASR9001 is the Active host:

and the ASR9904 is the Standby host:

The IOS XR version is 5.1.3, and the asr9k-9000v-nV-px-5.1.3 package is commited in both. So, why on the ASR9904 (Standby host) says:

Remote version: Compatible (not latest version)
    ROMMON: 127.0 (Latest)
    FPGA: 1.13 (Latest)
    IOS: 339.3 (Available: 338.1)

Why the ASR9000v IOS version available is different if they have the same IOS XR packages? how can I fix this?

Thansk,

Facundo

There is nothing to fix here. ASR9000v does not actually run IOX XR, but a classic IOS. The satellite status command output will show you whether the IOS version in satellite is the one that matches the IOS XR on the host.

Btw, IOS XR release 5.1.3 has reached end of software support long time ago. We recommend 6.3.3 or 6.4.2. You will find that satellite Serviceability improved since 5.1.3
