ASR9001 BNG over Xconnect (Two sites) with Geo-Redundancy

HI ,

Have anyone implemented this kind of deployment ?

I asking because i saw that use cases can be MSTAG or MSLAG and i would like to use MSTAG because i need solution load sharing with standby-hot.

Can anyone tell me is it working when using xconnect as pppoe transport, and how is this done ? 

Im interested most in how pppoe session will switch from active to standby chassis in this concept or i should use BNG cluster instead ?

Im planning  to use XR version 6.4.4.

Hello startx001,

Did you find a working solution when using xconnect as pppoe transport?
Did you transport multiple VLANs over xconnect from one side (access/modems) to other side (BNGs)?

I am planning a similar setup so I wonder how it works at yours ASR9ks.

You can use pseudowire redundancy with active/backup pseudowire :

If you access network is pure L3/MPLS you can use Pseudowire Headend in order to terminate your services on the BNG :
