BNG and CGNAT on ASR9K

Hi,

I'm discussing a new project for BNG-CGNAT and AAA for an ISP customer. Anyone could confirm which solution would fit better for GCN and AAA.

I was think in:

ASR9K- BNG

CPAR for - AAA/RADIUS

CGN?? - Which solution can replace the ISM CARD in ASR9K to support this feature?

the VSM-500 replaces the ISM card

As far as I understood, the new design for the environment for GCN will be connected with Catalyst 8500-12X4Q.

I would go with A10 for CGN. It is more feature rich and easier to scale.

There are many ISPs with A10 clusters (proprietary protocol for load-balancing, or you build it by yourself).
