I would like know the extended Mainenance Release strategy for the 6 release.

the principle is very simple: 6.x.0 and 6.x.1 are bringing new features and HW support, 6.x.2 is a maintenance release and 6.x.3 is the star of the show, i.e. the Extended Maintenance Release. For more details (including the exact schedule), please reach out to your account team at Cisco.
