IOS-XR License activate fail

Hi

Anyone knows why after the license location command, the license seems still non operational???

(admin)#sh run

license A9K-2T-TR-LIC
type permanent
location 0/0/CPU0

(admin)#show license

FeatureID: A9K-2T-TR-LIC (Slot based, Permanent)
Total licenses 1
Available for use 1
Allocated to location 0
Active 0
Store name Permanent
Store index 2
Pool: Owner
Total licenses in pool: 1
Status: Available 1 Operational: 0

We try to remove the license, adding again but still the same result.

Good Day,

I see that you have configured the license to use the 10Gig ports, however
the license should be applied with the command “hw-module port-control
license” under global configuration, then you must commit and reload the
line card for the license to take effect, below you can find the link for

Thanks Niko It Works!

Did you know if the procedure to license A9K-BNG-LIC-8K would be the same?, but the location command will be pointed to the LC, RSP0 and RSP1, and then all subslot should be reloaded?

BNG license can be added with license <> loc (feature should be configured for LC to bound to license).
