I don't believe the fix for this should have been to lower the severity. I think the original issue was that the message shouldn't say it's warning-level when it's alerting at error-level. I'd like to see Cisco re-open this bug to fix the message and...

I have noticed that although our c9500 is on version 16.11.1, it is also affected when i check the known fixes and the release notes for my software version i do not see mentions of this bug being fixed.
