Jabber & MS Teams

Teams is on the roll for us however, we will be keeping Cisco Jabber for voice only.

A recent change was sent out that seems to have registered Teams as the default for making calls "TEL:"

when looking in windows default applicatiosn for this it is still registered to Jaabber.

when i go to Outlook and click a number to call it tries to still launch the call in Teams.

any idea how i can fix this as i would like click to call to work in all apps with Jabber.

Same thing happened to us, an MS update messed with the protocol defaults.

Is the highlighted setting below still enabled in your MS Teams client?

Yes it is enabled.
Think that is what got turned on.

Scroll down and review the section called Registry Entries for Protocol Handlers. That's likely your problem.
