Hello guys!
Does clients like Jabber for Windows 7, IPhone, CUPC, etc., support Multicast Music-on-hold (MOH)? I am currently deploying a BE6000 with Presence Server and MOH is configured as multicast on the CUCM8.6. When the desktop phone (Cisco 7940) puts the jabber client on hold, I dont hear the audio stream. But when the jabber client puts the desktop phone on hold, I can hear the MOH audio stream.
Thanks in advanced!!

Hi
I'm pretty sure they do, as I've not noticed that they don't!
Are you multicasting MoH, and can the multicast traffic be routed to the PC/wireless subnets?

Hello Aaron. Yes, MOH is being multi-casted and the multi-cast traffic is being routed. Thanks for your reply.
