Jabber/MRA

My understanding of Jabber with MRA is our users would be able to transition from location WiFi to the cellular network without dropping calls or having to reestablish connection, is this not the case?

Issue is when a user leaves the building on a call the call will drop and the user will have re launch the Jabber client and log back in.

Looking for documentation that explains this functionality and how Jabber with MRA is supposed to function.

it is one of the limitations mentioned in the release notes. when a user moves from wifi to cellular data the jabber disconnects from the servers. hence the calls disconnect. if any calls made to the user during the transition face, the calls drop. I believe APN may help to resolve the issue but I am not sure about it.

I also noticed an open bug on the topic. https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuw65643/?rfs=iqvred

Regards,

Whats your expressway and Jabber versions  ?

Expressway 12.6 and Jabber version 14.

Call disconnect is normal. but "will have re launch the Jabber client and log back in" is a strange behavior.
