MWI on Jabber second line

I would like to know if Jabber supports message waiting indicator on second line. I have group voicemail box and like to get MWI for group mail box. In traditional SCCP phon, you can configure second line on phone and get MWI on second line. Is this something available for Jabber. Jabber has multiple line support. How message gets notify for jabber user on second line?

Jabber does not support this. The voicemail tab uses the account signed in for voicemail services with the client only, reflecting the message counts from the Unity Connection server.

You'll need to find some other way to distribute notifications.

We had our Cisco team raise an enhancement bug on this.  CSCvv87547  Open a TAC case and ask that your case be tied to this bug.  The more cases, the faster attention the enhancement will get.

A simple MWI for other lines seems like a no brainer.  Hopefully, they'll get this integrated.

The situation hasn’t changed unfortunately. You can use notifications in Unity Connection , or some API maybe with a custom application. Otherwise no it’s as it was.

It appears that a basic MWI for additional lines is a no-brainer. Hopefully, they'll be able to include this.
