Web Links or URLS in Jabber Chat window

Hello all,

I am running into an issue where we cannot send URL's or links in Jabber IM chat windows,.

The version of CUPS is 8.6.  Can anyone tell me if this is a setting on the server or client that

is preventing this?

What type of error are you getting with you try to send one?

Can you share a screenshot?

Your Jabber_cofing.xml file allows it?

Not necessarily  an error, it just will not accept any link when trying to send to a contact.  I don't see an option for it in the latest config file generator.

i quickly tested this in lab and it does not look like there is anything in the jabber-config.xml that we need to enable to be able to send web URLS in chat sessions with Jabber. Also there is not specific check on the server as well that will allow or not allow this configuration.

Ended up rebooting the server and this magically resolved itself!
