Hi Team,

We have a requirement where we just need to change the chat & email channel's state using the below APIs but it's somehow not working.

URLhttps://hq-uccx.abc.inc:8445/uccx-webservices/agent/Agent001/chatstate

ErrorHTTP Status 401 – Authentication Failed: Authentication is required to access this resource

I am attaching the Postman screenshot for reference.

Could you please check if we are missing anything?

Thanks in anticipation.

What system are you using.

The API is for UCCX, but the label for the question is for UCCE

I'm not even finding this endpoint in the documentation, can you provide a link to it?

david

Normally it looks like this

https://finesse1.xyz.com/finesse/api/User/1234

User—Change Agent State - Finesse - Document - Cisco Developer

Thank you Thomas for sharing the document link, could you please let us know how we can get the <mrdId> parameter value for chat and email channel?

https://<FQDN>/finesse/api/User/<id>/Media/<mrdId>

So it is a UCCE enviroment ?

Use the API

Media Routing Domain API (cisco.com)

https://UCCESERVER/unifiedconfig/config/mediaroutingdomain

Hi Thomas,

We are using Sandbox Lab - Unified Contact Center Express 12.5.

For this environment, is below API URI valid ?

https://hq-uccx.abc.inc/unifiedconfig/config/mediaroutingdomain

But its failing, attaching the Postman screenshot.

So it is an UCCX enviroment...

Media Routing Domains (MRD) is an UCCE/PCCE feature, so that will not work.

I actually don't think you can change the nonvoice state thrue REST on a UCCX (Maybe i'm wrong)

I don't think there's an endpoint for this, I've not been able to find any documentation on it.
