Is it possible to create new tables in UCCX database. so that we can store information in that table and then generate based on it? or we should use separate external database for it?
I just want to save the number what caller entered and the incoming number from which they are calling. and distplay it to agent in dashboard or in the agent finesse.
Is it possible? if so how ? any help.
UCCX Version : 11.6(1)

1. Unfortunately I don’t have any experience with callback and I’m very much not a license kind of person so I would not know what is needed for this.
2. Simple and straight answer, no it is not possible.

You do not need to store that information in new tables. Save the information in peripheral variables that can then be used to display the information.

Thank you for the reply. this is really useful.
What they want to do is that agent want to call back receiving numbers if they didnt answer their calls...
So I tried to create callback script but call didnt succeeded for outbound call. Its hitting call place step but nothing happens for outbound call. so i doubt its license issue.
Im attaching their license.. i can see preview outbound dialer enabled. but i dont know that support outbound calls or not. Is this license enough for outbound call back?
when I told them i dont think so u have outbound license then they told me to store those call back numbers in database and they can make call from there.
Can I achieve this from call variable?
kindly note my uccx version is different. sorry not mention in the main thread.

PVs is an old thing, it’s been around since the dawn of ages in CCX. In general it hasn’t changed much between versions. The UI for Finesse administration has changed in versions, but with a little effort it should not be an impossible feat to figure out how to set it up.

thank you roger. I did it now what you told. some more tweak is required. but its working
Two thing can I get an answer.
1. For call back script to work i already mentined about their license. will it work with that license?
2. is it possible to create our own custom tables in cisco UCCX table so that we can we store info without using external database and we can get those info to dashboard if we want. is that possible?

Sorry but I’m not really a reporting type of guy. Hopefully someone else in the community can help you out with this.

Here is an example of how you can use PVs in a script.
These two sets the PVs based on values in the variables that has been populated elsewhere in the script. These PVs can then be used in a layout to show in Finesse. See below for an example.
