Cisco Finesse v12.5 - Desktop layout XML changes not getting saved

Dears,

Issue - Trying to add a 3rdpartygadget on finesse, but any changes that is made on to the desktop layout XML is not getting saved even after successfully pressing the save button. It shows the default layout XML after saving.

We tried restarting the servers and issue still persist.

Error Message - Team resource failed to update :Desktop Layout

.

Please advise

There is a known bug addressing this, can't find what it is right now. If i remember correctly if you switch browsers it will go away.

But I tried using both Chrome and Firefox and it gives me the same error.

Sounds this issue to below bug - which was resolved on the lastest ES.

Do you have the latest ES installed on your Finesse 12.5?

Hi,

Thanks for our response.

Actually I have installed the mentioned patch update.

I am able to make changes on the Layout XML if iam using the XML editor.

The issue happens if am using the text editor in finesse.

Attached is the console error while iam trying to save the changes in text editor.

Please advise for a solution.

A very late reply so possibly of no use to you now but you should only get that error in the SPOG. If you make the changes in cfadmin then it'll work.
