Cisco Jabber not able to login with Finesse

Dear All,

 

We are running UCCE 10.5.x and configured Jabber clients and registration is failed. Because there is no Primary /Secondary DNS entry on CUCM servers.

 Added local host entry with CUCM IP & Hostname ( without FQDN Name ) then cisco Jabber registration is done.

 

 But not able to login cisco Finesse ( The device associated with that extension or dial number is invalid).

 

End-user configured and  assigned roles

Jabber device Added into PG application user

Given working PT, CSS and all the CTI parameters are enabled

 

 

Able to login cisco CIPC and hard phone

 

Please check the attached jgw log and advise.

This is error you have

21:22:50:190 PG1A-jgw1 Trace: AddCallObserver address validation failed - Address Name: 7567, error code: 152.

 

You will need to check pim1 logs

Do you have CUCM Common Device Configuration with IPv4 only for the Jabber?

As I remember it is there: Device -> Device Settings -> Common Device Configuration

Yes, Common Device Configuration in place but no luck.

 

the same configuration is done by a few customers and working fine. still, I worried because of DNS entry not configured in CUCM servers.

 

please advise.
