Dear All,
Currently, we are running Cisco ECE 12.6.1 ES9 ET3 with on-prem email integration (Single Email Aliases). Now we are looking for the best practice and advice for the following requirement.
We need to create another Email alias; the existing one with an On-Prem email exchange (Working), and the second email alias needs to be integrated with Outlook 365 in the Cloud.
Please let me know does Cisco ECE will support On-prem + Cloud exchange integration with Configure Multiple Email Aliases. If yes, please share some insights on this.

this doc is a good start: https://community.cisco.com/t5/collaboration-knowledge-base/oauth-2-0-configuration-with-cisco-enterprise-chat-and-email-ece/ta-p/4766276
Our fellow community member, @piyush aghera put together a nice doc, but seems to have some issues loading. Try this, https://www.voiptechwikis.com/ece-oauth-config/ and if that doesnt work, try this and wait for it to load https://web.archive.org/web/20241112115515/https://www.voiptechwikis.com/ece-oauth-config/

Thanks Omar. The document over there was created for ECE 11.6, though many of the steps remain same. Here's more latest one with ECE 12.6:
Look for section - About Email Accounts
I see Ramamoorthy has ES9 ET3, I would suggest to install ES10 as it fixes an issue related to timer mismatch between ECE and Microsoft. Due to this timer mismatch, you will not get proper error message from Microsoft when ECE fails to reach Authenticator services.

Hi Piyush,
Thank you for the response. We are stuck with Email Accounts creation - unable to generate an authorization code.

Hi Ram,
I am not sure how your Azure team is setting this up. Basically, they have to create an App Registration and add Redirect URI which is an externally accessible URL that points to your ECE webserver.
Basically for example, external URI would look like this - https://ciscoece.yourdomain.com/system/web/view/mail/admin/account/showauthcode.jsp that points to https://FQDN of ECE web server/system/web/view/mail/admin/account/showauthcode.jsp
So you'll need to work with your Firewall or whoever team is responsible to make your ECE web server accessible from outside your network (i.e., over the internet) to make this work.
Then your Azure team has to add API Permissions.

Unable to find the report console in ECE version 12.6.1 ES9 with ET3. Any idea

You have to open your ECE URL using Edge in IE mode.

Thank you for the input. Please advise, can we integrate two Email exchange servers in a single ECE instance (On-Prem + Cloud)

I haven't done that, but I think it should be possible because you can create multiple OAuth accounts, multiple Email accounts and Aliases.

Dear All,
Please share the procedure for upgrading Cisco ECE Apache Tomcat to the latest version, specifically from 2.14.0 to 2.15.0 or a later version.
Found some information that ECE is a tightly integrated system where components like Apache are managed within the broader application stack.
Unable to find an Apache upgrade document like CVP, ICM, etc..

You're right. I dont see any procedure to upgrade Apache in ECE.
