We have Cisco UCCE 11.6 environment and have an IVR application built in Java 1.7, SQL 2014. We have tried establish communication with SQL 2014 via SQL Service Account but it is not working. Alternatively, we tried establishing connection with SQL 2014 via Local SQL User Account and it is working.
While researching in Cisco Forum; we found that its a known bug - CSCvg20831. And want to know, if there is a solution available for this. As mentioned, we have got this working via workaround i.e. using Local SQL user account but looking for a solution.
Also, we don't want to make any registry changes as mentioned below:-
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvg20831
1. Change below settings in the VXML server:
Under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Wow6432Node -> Apache Software Foundation -> Procrun 2.0 -> VXMLServer -> Parameters -> Java -> Options"
Add "-Djdk.tls.client.protocols=TLSv1.2"
2. Restart the Cisco CVP VXMLServer service from the Windows Services application.

Hi,
Per bug details, it looks like the workaround is the only presented solution. This bug is said to be fixed in 12.0, so upgrading to 12.0 is the only other solution.
Thanx,
Denise
