ECE 12.5.1_Email Alert

Team,

We are running UCCE 12.5.1 with ECE 12.5, we keep getting this Email Subject alert often

 

Workflow could not create email through the Auto-acknowledgement node

 

Here is the content of the alert email:

Error: The workflow could not create the email due to its size. Please make the necessary changes to the workflow to reduce email size or increase the Maximum email size for dispatcher(MB) value to address future activities of a similar size.

 

Any inputs on how to fix this?

Did you look at the Maximum Body Size for Dispatcher setting to see if that needs to be increased to allow the emails to be routed?

Yes, i had set the Maximum Email Size for Dispatcher (MB) settings to Maximum value as 150, initially it was set to default value as 25. But still the same issue.

So after this settings change do we need to restart the DX process ?

It couldn't hurt, but do you really have emails that large, is that really the issue? Also, note the comment in the guide re: the SMTP size as well. 150 MB for an email just seems large, if you look at the emails that are generating these alarms in Outlook, do they appear to be big files?

To add to Bill's response, there are limitations within Office 365 also which defines how big an email can be sent. So if you are receiving larger emails with attachments, and auto acknowledging them with original email, then it can reach upper limit very quickly, within 2-3 replies.
