External rest service call from finesse gadget

I have created a finesse gadget which is calling rest public domain web service.

I have hosted that gadget on the web server which is having internet access so I am able to call that rest web service from the web server.

But when I am trying to call that gadget from finesse server I am facing issue gateway timeout (504).

Please help me in identifying the issue. Wheater I need to have internet aceess on finesse server as well or I need to check my code.

Hi,

You need to make sure that the Finesse server can ping the web server. The Finesse server loads the gadget files from the webserver so it needs to have access to it.
