This might be an easy one, but I am trying to find out a way to use CUIC reporting to filter based on the Session ID. I have decided to use the Session ID for callers to reference and now when/if they call back with the reference number (Session ID) I need a way for supervisors to find the call easily. I don't see myself diving into the CLI on the server to try and find the call every time. Do I need a custom report for this?

Yes, you'll need a custom report. Look at the Detailed Call by Call CCDR Report source (hopefully it's not a stored procedure) and see if you can figure out what to change to have it search by Session ID.
